SOLIHULL SCOUT COUNTY JOINS TLC TO RAISE MONEY WITH BIRMINGHAM 'S BIGGEST LOTTERY

Solihull Scout County have joined Birmingham 's biggest lottery to help raise more funds – and make giving more fun. TLC Lottery has already raised more than £1.6 million for some of The West Midlands' best-known good causes.

£2000 is paid out each week in prize money, with an amazing jackpot of £1000! For as little as £1 a week you get the chance to take part and be one of many lucky winners, whilst supporting SOLIHULL SCOUTS .

How does it work?
We are asking our members and supporters of Scouting to play the £1 a week game, which will raise money for both Solihull Scouts and 3 other important local charities. We will receive 45p for each entry into the draw, and another 45p will be allocated between:-
•  Acorns Children's Hospice;
•  Birmingham Focus on Blindness, and
•  Birmingham St Mary's Hospice.

The remaining 10p will help build up a prize jackpot and run the scheme.

All you need to do is to complete the application form online and we will receive our allocation of the money directly each month.

The lottery works like Premium Bonds, where every player has a personal number. Each week a computer randomly picks more than 100 winners, who can receive anything from £1,000 cash to a teddy bear wearing one of TLC's T-shirts.

How does playing help Scouting in Solihull ?

For every 100 people that take part for a year we will raise £2,340 . This money will go towards supporting the Jamboree Contingent and after the Jamboree will support the development of Scouting in Solihull .
